    Drinking Quest 3 Crowd Funding

A while ago we enjoyed and reviewed Drinking Quest 1 and 2, a hybrid drinking game and tabletop RPG. While creator Jason Anarchy has been releasing small bits of information about a third installment on Twitter, the Indiegogo campaign is now official. Though the game will complete the trilogy, each is a standalone product and can be played in any order. From the information given, this installment will still have the light RPG gameplay that makes it easy to play while drinking and the witty humor that references popular culture. Good Guy Goblin, modeled after internet meme Good Guy Greg, is set to make an appearance. While the previous games’ art was in black and white, Drinking Quest 3’s use of crowd funding will allow all the cards to be full color.

The rewards range from physical and PDF copies of all three games, bottle openers, and the creator even writing you a poem. If you have $4000 to spare, he’ll tattoo your name on his arm! The crowd funding campaign began today and will be accepting pledges until March 18th. Check out the video above or the link below for more info.

  • Zombie Apocalypse Community Reputation - Badges and Reactions

    theinevitablezombieapocalypse:

Introducing: The Zombie Apocalypse Community Badges, Reputation, and Leaderboard

From the forums: A strong, active, smart, respectful, and fun community is essential for survival of The Zombie Apocalypse. To that end our community forum activity is powered by activity around quality content and actions. Baked in to the system are badges that designate a content or community-related achievement of some sort.

    image

Badges: (eg, First Wave) are systemic and designated by the site itself, with some moderator imput. Badges can be achieved for both account-wide general actions, as well as for very zombie-survival actions.

Reactions: (eg, Awesome) are primarily community-driven and allow other zombie apocalypse survivors to both reward and moderate great content and posts.

    image

Leaderboard: Both Badges and Reactions have a correlated point system. Great content and behavior is rewarded, tabulated as a leaderboard, and expressed as a community-wide Activity feed. As the community grows, we’ll add more zombie apocalypse achievements, points, and rewards. Thanks for following. - TZA
